STEM Science Expo & Carnival

STEM Science Expo & Carnival

On the evening of April 10, the Inclusive STEM Expo was warmly held at the Lexington Community Center. Grace Harbor Group was honored to participate as one of the sponsoring partners, supporting this community-centered science and technology event that was open to all students and designed to be inclusive of children with special needs. What made this event particularly meaningful was not just that it was “fun,” but that it truly created opportunities for every child to participate. Here, children were not merely observers, but explorers. They were not only experiencing activities, but also actively engaging in identifying problems and attempting to solve them. For many children, this process is where curiosity, confidence, and personal growth begin to take shape.

This event was jointly organized by AllStars Learning, Harvard Undergraduates Raising Autism Acceptance (HURAA), Lexington Community Center, and Lexington SEPAC / SEPTA. The venue featured several themed zones, including a Future Technology Zone, an Engineering Challenge Zone, and a Science Experiment Zone. Through hands-on activities such as AI interactions, robotics, coding, 3D printing, marshmallow structure challenges, baking soda volcanoes, and lava lamps, children were able to experiment, iterate, and explore independently, immersing themselves in the excitement of science and technology. Grace Harbor Group has consistently been committed to community engagement and continues to support individuals with special needs and their families. We believe that a truly inclusive and compassionate community is one where more children are seen, understood, and encouraged—where each child can explore bravely and grow joyfully at their own pace.
