Top School Admissions Officer Sharing Session

We were honored to welcome our distinguished guest, Jon, to share his insights at the event. A graduate of Cornell University, Jon spent 25 years at Harvard University, including 9 years serving in the Office of the President. Over the course of his career, he held key roles as Harvard’s representative to Japan, East Asia, and later as the University’s lead for Asia, overseeing alumni relations, fundraising, admissions, and institutional partnerships across the region.
With his extensive experience and deep understanding of the admissions landscape, Jon has guided hundreds of students to top U.S. universities, including Harvard, Yale, Stanford, MIT, Cornell, Princeton, Columbia, and the University of Chicago. Notably, approximately 85% of the students he has mentored have been admitted to Harvard, reflecting an exceptional track record. During the event, Jon shared in-depth perspectives on the admissions philosophy and selection criteria of top U.S. institutions. Drawing from his decades of experience, he offered practical and forward-looking advice to students and families, which was met with strong interest and positive feedback from attendees.
